Spring Update

It's been just over 2 months since my last blog update, and I hardly even know where to begin as far as catching up. Spring has been very, very busy for us. It's not that we haven't done anything blog worthy - we have - but I just have not been able to sit down and organize my pictures until now. I'm usually somewhat obsessive about clearing pictures and videos off my phone at the end of each month and then filing them into the correct digital folder labeled by month and year. Sometimes I also cross reference them by special event. But for the last 2 months, they've just been stacking up in my phone until I was alerted that my storage was full. Grrrrrr. I'm hoping to catch up soon. I actually have several recipes, hikes, and outings to share - as soon as I can get them written!

So... without further adieu... Here's what's new with us.

Just as you would expect, spring soccer began with cold, wet rainy practices and games. One game in particular, I was pretty sure my toes were going to fall off from the cold. Finally, we have had a couple of games where the boys actually don't have long sleeves under their jerseys and being a spectator was actually enjoyable.

And then there's Kylo.  He is sweet and crazy all at the same time. We suffered a couple of stuffed animal tragedies at the mouth of Kylo and we unfortunately lose a sock almost daily. But when he's not chewing up our footwear, he's catching balls, cuddling, and chilling. What's not to love?

We've been to the river a couple of times. One of our favorite family things to do on a nice afternoon. I'll be sharing more pics soon!

We visited the capitol building TWICE over spring break. Once for a self guided tour and again for a private tour into the dome. It was so awesome. Definitely will be blogging that one soon too.

We took Kylo on his first hike - an oldie but goodie for us - Three Creeks South.

We converted the dining room into a music room for the boys. It's a perfect spot for them to sit and practice. They've even played a couple of things together! They are cute and I am so, so proud of them.

Among other things, there was also Easter, a visit from my little brother and his family, the beginning of a basement remodel AND I got a big promotion at work! Life is good for us. Busy, but good. I'll catch up on more soon!
